Ack! Thbbt!

I've been searching for C libraries that can save images, so that I can automatically save screenshots and movies from my mathematics visualisation tool. Naturally, most image libraries are named with some variation of the words "Image Tool Kit", or ITK for short. And for reasons that are obvious to me and only about 50 other people in the world, every time I see the letters ITK, I twitch slightly.

Luckily, most of them dont't read my blog, so this post should be incomprehensible to anyone who reads it.

The useful image libraries I found were:

• SOIL - Simple image reader. Lots of formats, writes BMP/TGA/DDS. Designed to work with OpenGL
• LodePNG - Load and save PNGs and BMPs
• SDL_SavePNG - Saves PNGs
